ACACIA GREEK LETTER FRATERNITY THROW

ACACIA GREEK LETTER FRATERNITY THROW

Acacia Fraternity is a social fraternity originally based out of Masonic tradition and was founded on May 12, 1904 by a group of 14 Freemasons attending the University of Michigan. 13 of the founders were Christians and one was Jewish.  Acacia is the only (inter)national fraternity to have a Greek word rather than Greek letters as its name. Greek does not contain the letter "c"; however, so the proper Greek spelling of the name is Ακακια.  Acacia's fundamental principles are scholarship, leadership, brotherhood and human service/philanthropy. Colors are Black and Old Gold.

48" x 69" Throws are 100% cotton, jacquard woven, and convey the richness and grandeur of art that has withstood the test of time. Made in the USA. Machine wash/dry.
