It has preserved the glory of the Norman Invasion of England and the Battle of Hastings in 1066. The reproduction 11th century Bayeux tapestry scene promises to be as vibrant and exciting as the original work. The Bayeux tapestry is a favorite piece for collectors of medieval decor. The Bayeux is the most important relic to survive from the eleventh century.
